Help Advocate for Alvarado
The proposed SFUSD budget cut of up to $113 million could have dramatic, negative consequences for Alvarado -- we could lose up to $600,000 of financing.
Read about potential impacts, then make your opinions heard! Attend the Feb 25th Town Hall meeting and contact our
California State Legislators and let them know that cutting education is short-sighted.

Principal's Welcome

Welcome to all of our Alvarado families, new and old. Parents are children’s first and most influential educators. We look forward to collaborating with you in providing your children with the best education possible. We have been busily preparing for the new school year. Many of our teachers have used the summer break to gain training in various disciplines. Parent volunteers have done much work in the school gardens, making them educationally accessible and more inviting. Lily and Jose, our custodians, have worked hard cleaning up the school and getting it ready for another year.
