RAFFLE

As part of the Auction, each year we hold a Raffle, which raises roughly $15K of our annual PTA Budget. On November 17th, each student was sent home with two raffle booklets, a raffle flyer and return envelope, from their classrooms. You can pick up additional raffle tickets in the office, or contact Mahasty at 415.412.5463 or mahasty@sbcglobal.net.
Please return any unsold raffle booklets to the office secretary, as we can reuse them.

ticket stubs

Envelopes with ticket stubs and cash or check payments (made out to Alvarado PTA) can be turned into classroom teachers, or dropped off with Melissa, the secretary in the school office. The deadline for turning in all ticket stubs is Wednesday, March 14th via the teachers or Melissa, although additional stubs with cash/checks can be turned in or purchased at the SOMArts auction, on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Noe Valley Farmers Market

You can help support the school’s fabulous academic programs and enrichment activities by volunteering to sell raffle tickets at the Noe Valley Farmer’s Market, on Saturdays in Feb and early March. Find a friend to join you, and bring your kids, as kids can be the best sales people.

There are 2 additional “early bird” incentives for your kids to get in on the raffle ticket selling action this year:

1. The classroom that sells the most tickets will win a Pizza Party!

2. One student from each grade will win a voucher for Easy Breezy Frozen Yogurt by selling the most tickets for their grade.

To enter these 2 early bird drawings, families must return their raffle stubs with payment to Melissa in the office, no later than 5pm on Friday, March 2nd, 2017.
